VEON App Announces 1 Million Downloads Celebration in 19 Days

The Global telecom operator VEON in collaboration with its subsidiary in Pakistan Jazz, has officially launched VEON Application in Pakistan. Earlier, VEON announced that it has plans to reinvent and expand itself as a technology company by introducing its own messaging and mobile services app in four new markets including Pakistan and Russia. Few days VEON announced that it became the number one most downloaded app on Play Store in the category of top free apps . It also topped play store in the communication category. On iOS, VEON stood second followed by WhatsApp.

This ranking clearly shows that VEON is giving a very tough competition to its competitors. Now Veon has announced that its App has reached 1 million downloads. This announcement shows that in just span of 19 days VEON has gained popularity among people.It thanks the users for making them acchive this number. VEON’s marketing strategy is an add on to other features due to which people are turning towards it.

VEON , a messaging App designed to compete with the other players like WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat etc. that are currently offering free services to its users by using mobile network’s data or WiFi and are Over-the-Top (OTTs) services.

VEON aims to offer basic communication for free, while taking a cut of proceeds from partnerships with popular internet services it offers through its app, using data insights it can glean as a network operator.
