The Chinese technology company owned by BBK Electronics, Vivo is all set to expand its Nex Series. There had been a lot of rumors and leaks about this dual-screen upcoming handset for many days. A few days back, Vivo Nex 2 (Vivo Dual Display Edition) which is the successor of the Nex S also got leaked. The Vivo Nex 2 Leak suggested that the upcoming phone will feature the same dual-screen design as that of the previously launched Vivo Nubia X. Recently, we came to know that the company has started sending invites for the event that is going to be held in Shanghai. According to the invites, the Vivo Nex 2 Launch Date is set to be Dec 11.
Vivo Nex 2 Launch Date Is Decided To be December 11
Vivo has named the phone Dual Display Edition in its invites. The company is all set to hold an event in Shanghai on Dec 11 that will take place at 7:30 PM China time. Let’s have a look at the official invite sent by the company.
The previous Leaks have revealed that the upcoming smartphone will feature a dual-screen design like the Nubia X. The company has plans to adopt this new design in order to maximize the screen to body ratio of the front display. The primary screen of the phone will be a 6.59-inch panel with sound casting technology. On the other hand, the secondary display will be of 5.5-inches. It will also allow the users to switch between screens with a three-finger gesture. The new smartphone will have USB-C on the bottom, while the 3.5 mm audio jack will be on the top. Moreover, the dual-screen phone will have an option with 10 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The Vivo Dual Display Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. It will have a massive screen-to-body AMOLED screen on the front with an under-display fingerprint scanner and heavily modified FunTouch OS.
