Vivo S5 is Live Now

Last week Vivo unveiled S5, now the company has announced on its official website that the device is available for purchase in the market.

The Vivo S5 mobile is available in two storage options for the users – 8GB/128GB which price is CNY2,698 ($385/€345) and 8GB/256GB available at CNY2,998 ($425/€385) in the market. However, it is to be noted that only the 128GB version is currently available for purchase in the market.

This new smartphone comes with a 6.44″ FHD+ AMOLED display. Users can get the access to the device easily with fingerprint reader underneath. A punch hole in the top-right corner for the 32MP selfie camera. The camera department of both models V1932T and V1932A have a 32MP front camera. While on the rear, the V1932T is packed by a triple camera setup (48MP+8MP+5MP) and the V1932A has a penta camera lenses (48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP+5MP).

Moreover, the Vivo S5 is powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC and runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9.2 layered on top.

The available version of the phone’s back has a 48MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP depth, and 2MP macro units that are arranged in a diamond formation.

The power house of the S5 is fueled by a 4,100 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. This new phone is available in three colors – Icelandic Blue, Phantom Blue, and Star Black. However, the Phantom Blue version is not available in the market at the moment.

Currently, phone is only available in Chinese market for the purchase but soon company will make its availability for the purchase in other markets as well.
