vivo V70 Lite 5G Unveiled Globally; Expected Price and Launch Timeline in Pakistan

New mid-range smartphone brings a modest performance upgrade, while retaining much of the design and hardware seen on its predecessor.

vivo has officially unveiled the vivo V70 Lite in the UAE, bringing a refreshed version of its mid-range smartphone lineup with Android 16, OriginOS 6, and MediaTek’s new Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. While the device introduces a handful of upgrades, it remains largely similar to last year’s vivo V60 Lite in terms of design, cameras, and display specifications

At first glance, the vivo V70 Lite looks almost identical to its predecessor. The smartphone retains the same pill-shaped rear camera module and a familiar overall design language. The primary difference lies under the hood, where vivo has replaced the Dimensity 7360 processor with the newer Dimensity 7400 Turbo, offering slightly improved performance and efficiency.

The smartphone features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. A 32MP front-facing camera sits inside a centered punch-hole cutout, while the rear setup consists of a 50MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

vivo has also equipped the device with dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IP65 dust and water resistance, and support for 4K video recording.

One of the biggest changes comes on the software side. The vivo V70 Lite ships with Android 16 and OriginOS 6 out of the box, replacing the Funtouch OS experience commonly seen on previous global vivo devices.

Powering the handset is a 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery with support for 90W FlashCharge technology. Combined with the power-efficient Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset, the battery is expected to deliver strong endurance for gaming, streaming, and everyday multitasking.

Expected Launch Timeline in Pakistan

Although vivo Pakistan has not officially confirmed local availability, industry observers expect the vivo V70 Lite to arrive in the country between July and August 2026, based on vivo’s previous launch schedules and the company’s strong focus on Pakistan’s mid-range smartphone market.

The vivo V60 Lite was introduced in Pakistan shortly after its international debut, and a similar rollout strategy is expected for the new model.

Expected Price in Pakistan

The vivo V70 Lite has been launched globally in two configurations:

8GB + 128GB — $299
8GB + 256GB — $354

After accounting for PTA taxes, import duties, currency conversion, and local distribution costs, the smartphone is expected to launch at:

Rs 89,999 – Rs 94,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant
Rs 99,999 – Rs 104,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant

This would place the device in direct competition with premium mid-range smartphones from Samsung, Infinix, Redmi, Realme, and Tecno.
