vivo V70 series tipped for February launch; Expected Price & Availibility in Pakistan

The vivo V70 series is expected to make its debut in February, according to recent leaks, with the lineup likely comprising the vivo V70 and V70 Elite initially. A third model, the V70 FE, is expected to be introduced at a later stage.

vivo has not officially confirmed launch timelines for Pakistan. However, based on the company’s recent release pattern, the V70 series is expected to arrive in the local market within a few weeks of its global rollout, subject to regulatory approvals and pricing decisions.

Reports suggest the V70 series will continue vivo’s emphasis on photography. The phones are expected to feature Snapdragon processors, large Sony camera sensors, and Zeiss optics, alongside OriginOS 6, which is expected to introduce additional AI-based features.

Leaks indicate that the standard vivo V70 may be based on the recently launched S50 in China. If accurate, it could include a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a periscope telephoto lens, and a high-capacity battery, placing it firmly in the premium mid-range category.

The upcoming devices will succeed the vivo V60 series, which was launched in Pakistan in September 2024. The V60 was positioned in the upper mid-range segment and featured Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, Zeiss-branded cameras, and a large battery.

Expected price and availability in Pakistan

Based on the pricing of the V60 series, the vivo V70 is expected to be priced around Rs. 150,000 or above in Pakistan, depending on configuration. Meanwhile, the Lite or FE variants may be introduced later to address lower price segments.

For now, vivo Pakistan has not issued an official statement. However, market expectations point to a late February or early March launch window if past trends hold.
