vivo V80 Geekbench Listing Reveals Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Chipset; Expected Pakistan Launch Timeline

The upcoming vivo V80 appears set to retain its predecessor’s processor while introducing a larger battery, redesigned camera module, and newer software ahead of its anticipated October debut.
The upcoming vivo V80 has reportedly surfaced on Geekbench, revealing its processor, RAM configuration, and early benchmark scores ahead of its official launch. The smartphone, which will succeed the vivo V70, is expected to arrive in India in early October, although the company has yet to announce an exact release date.
Identified by model number V2648, the device was previously spotted in India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database. Its latest benchmark appearance provides further insight into vivo’s hardware plans for the next-generation V-series smartphone.
The key revelation is that vivo appears to be retaining the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset rather than introducing a newer processor. This suggests the V80’s main improvements may come from battery capacity, software, and camera features rather than a significant increase in processing power.
vivo V80 Geekbench Results Confirm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 8GB RAM and Android 17
According to the reported Geekbench listing, the vivo V80 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, the same chipset found in the vivo V70.
The device was tested with 8GB of RAM and Android 17, while vivo’s upcoming OriginOS 7 interface is expected to provide the software experience.
The smartphone reportedly achieved 1,070 points in the single-core test and 3,552 points in the multi-core assessment.
These scores suggest that users should not expect a major performance improvement over the previous generation. However, the results may have been obtained using pre-production hardware, and performance could change with final software optimization.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is also used in the vivo V70, which launched in Pakistan earlier this year with a 6,500mAh battery and 90W fast charging.
While the processor may remain unchanged, the V80 is rumoured to feature a 7,200mAh battery, representing a 700mAh increase over its predecessor. The larger capacity could provide improved battery endurance, although real-world performance will depend on power efficiency and software optimisation.
The handset is also expected to introduce a redesigned rear camera module featuring a wide horizontal camera plateau instead of the conventional square-shaped arrangement.
Official teasers have revealed an orange finish and ZEISS-branded camera hardware. Reports also point to a sky-blue colour option and additional AI-powered photography features.
The camera-focused features may include AI Creative Camera, Live Sticker Collage, and Night Portrait 2.0, although the complete camera specifications have not been officially confirmed.
vivo V80 Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan
The vivo V80 is expected to launch in Pakistan at a starting price of Rs. 184,999, based on preliminary market listings and its predecessor’s pricing. The handset could arrive in Pakistan by late October or November 2026, following its anticipated Indian debut. However, vivo has yet to confirm the official price.
