vivo V80 Lite 5G Teaser Reveals Curved Display and Centered Selfie Camera
vivo appears to be preparing a new addition to its V-series lineup. A teaser image of the upcoming vivo V80 Lite 5G has surfaced online, giving us an early look at part of the phone’s front design.
The image was shared on Instagram by a multi-brand mobile store in Shajapur, India. While the promotional picture appears heavily edited, it clearly shows a curved display with a hole-punch cutout placed in the center for the selfie camera.
The teaser also features the phrase “slay every edge,” which could be part of vivo’s marketing campaign for the device.
The vivo V80 Lite 5G has already appeared in earlier reports. Its listing on the Google Play Console suggested that the phone could be a rebranded version of the vivo S2. This means the V80 Lite 5G may share much of its hardware with the existing model.
If the rebranding reports are accurate, the V80 Lite 5G could come with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The panel is expected to offer a 1260 x 2800 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the phone could use the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset. It may be paired with 8GB of RAM and offer 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The camera setup could also be similar to the vivo S2. The phone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera on the rear and a 32MP camera for selfies.

One of the biggest highlights could be its large battery. The V80 Lite 5G is rumored to pack a 7,050mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging. If confirmed, this would give the phone a strong advantage for users who prioritize battery life.
For now, vivo has not officially confirmed the complete specifications or launch date of the V80 Lite 5G. The newly surfaced teaser does, however, suggest that the company is moving closer to introducing the device.
More details should emerge as vivo prepares for the phone’s official announcement.
