vivo V80 Series Launch Tipped for August; Expected Price & Release Timeline in Pakistan

The vivo V80 series could be just weeks away from its official debut. According to a new leak, vivo is preparing to unveil its next-generation V-series smartphones in mid-August, bringing a larger battery, a smoother display, and several premium features while retaining the camera hardware of its predecessor.

Although vivo has yet to confirm the launch date, the leaked specifications suggest the company is focusing on battery life and user experience rather than a major hardware overhaul. If the launch timeline proves accurate, the V80 series could also reach Pakistan shortly after its global debut.

According to the leak, the standard vivo V80 will feature a 6.59-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering a smoother viewing experience than the V70.

The smartphone is expected to continue using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the same processor found in its predecessor. However, one of the biggest upgrades could come in the battery department. The device is rumored to pack a 7,200mAh battery, compared to the 6,500mAh battery on the vivo V70, while retaining 90W fast charging support.

For photography, vivo is reportedly sticking with the proven setup introduced on the V70. The phone is tipped to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. A 50MP selfie camera is also expected.

Additional rumored features include:

• 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
• Aluminum alloy frame
• IP69 dust and water resistance rating

Since vivo has not officially announced the smartphone, these specifications should be treated as preliminary.

Expected Pakistan launch timeline

Based on vivo’s previous release strategy, Pakistani consumers may not have to wait long after the global launch.

The vivo V70 debuted globally in February 2026 before arriving in Pakistan in early March, indicating roughly a two to three-week gap between the international and local launches.

If vivo follows the same timeline, the vivo V80 series is likely to launch in Pakistan during late August or early September 2026.
