vivo X500 Design Revealed Ahead of September 21 Launch—Expected Price & Release Timeline in Pakistan

vivo has officially revealed the updated design of the vivo X500 ahead of the series launch in China on September 21, giving an early look at how the standard model will differ from its predecessor and the higher-end X500 Pro variants.
The biggest visual change is on the back. The vivo X500 now features a large circular camera module positioned toward the upper-left side, while the LED flash sits outside the circle. The entire camera setup is placed on a raised rectangular plateau stretching across the width of the rear panel, giving the phone a noticeably different look from the previous generation.
vivo has also confirmed four color options for the X500: black, light gray, light pink and a gradient finish.
Camera Hardware and Key Features
The new design reveal follows earlier confirmation that the standard vivo X500 will share some camera hardware with the higher-end model.
The phone is expected to feature a 50MP Sony LYT-828 1/1.28-inch main sensor with ZEISS-backed stabilization, alongside a 64MP Sony LYT-610 telephoto camera. The telephoto setup is also expected to support 4K slow-motion recording at 120fps and compatibility with a 200mm teleconverter.
Other reported specifications include a possible 50MP ultrawide camera, a 6.37-inch display, and a flagship-grade 3nm MediaTek Dimensity chipset, although vivo has yet to confirm the complete specification sheet.
With the official China launch now only days away, full details regarding performance, battery capacity, charging, storage configurations, and pricing are expected to be announced on September 21.
Expected Price & Release Timeline in Pakistan
vivo has not yet confirmed the X500 series for Pakistan. However, based on the company’s premium X-series rollout strategy, the standard X500 could reach the Pakistani market toward the end of 2026 or in early 2027, depending on regional availability.
The vivo X500 is currently expected to fall in the Rs 190,000 to Rs 250,000 range in Pakistan, depending on the RAM and storage variant as well as the final local launch strategy.
That estimate remains preliminary until vivo announces the device’s official pricing in China.
For Pakistani buyers, the vivo X500 is shaping up as a camera-focused flagship with a refreshed design, premium Sony imaging hardware, and a potentially more accessible price point than the Pro and Pro Max variants.
The September 21 launch should provide a clearer picture of the phone’s international positioning and whether Pakistan is likely to be included in the next phase of its rollout.
