vivo X500 Series Confirmed for September Launch; Here’s What Pakistan Buyers Can Expect

vivo has officially confirmed that its next-generation X500 series will launch in September, with the upcoming flagship lineup expected to bring major upgrades in photography, video recording, performance, and display technology.

The series is expected to include the vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, succeeding the company’s X300 lineup.

vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao confirmed the September launch and revealed several key camera features ahead of the formal unveiling, with the company placing particular emphasis on professional-grade imaging and video capabilities.

ZEISS Camera System to Lead the Upgrades

The vivo X500 Pro models are set to feature a new ZEISS Ultra Dynamic Main Camera built around a custom Phantom 900 sensor developed by Sony and vivo’s Blueprint imaging team.

The sensor is claimed to deliver a 17EV dynamic range, potentially allowing the camera to preserve more detail in challenging scenes containing both bright highlights and dark shadows.

vivo is also pushing the X500 series toward professional video recording, with support expected for 4K slow-motion video at 240fps and 4K HDR recording at 120fps.

The higher-end vivo X500 Pro Max will reportedly feature 3-degree optical image stabilization, while the lineup is also expected to offer CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilization.

These features suggest vivo is positioning the X500 series as another camera-focused flagship family, with video performance likely to be one of its main selling points.

While vivo has so far focused primarily on imaging details, the company has also indicated that the X500 lineup will introduce improvements in performance, software, photography and display technology.

Complete specifications, including the chipset, battery capacity, charging speed and display configuration, have yet to be officially announced.

Will the vivo X500 Series Launch in Pakistan?

For Pakistani consumers, the biggest question is whether the X500 series will arrive locally following its September debut.

vivo Pakistan has not announced an official launch date for the X500 series, and it remains unclear which models from the three-device lineup could be introduced in the country.

However, vivo has previously launched premium X-series devices in Pakistan, making the arrival of at least one X500 model a realistic possibility.

The company introduced the vivo X300 Pro in Pakistan earlier in 2026, followed by the X300 FE, demonstrating continued interest in expanding its premium smartphone portfolio in the local market.

Based on vivo’s previous launch pattern, a Pakistan release could potentially follow the initial September introduction later in 2026 or early 2027, although no official timeline has been confirmed.

Official Pakistan pricing is also unavailable at this stage.

The X500 Pro and Pro Max are expected to compete in the premium flagship segment, particularly given their advanced ZEISS camera hardware and professional video capabilities.

For reference, the previous vivo X300 Pro launched in Pakistan at around Rs. 349,999, suggesting that higher-end X500 models could also carry a premium price if officially introduced.
