vivo Y29 5G: Expected Launch, Specs, and Arrival in Pakistan

vivo is reportedly preparing to release its latest lower mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y29 5G. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch, leaks indicate that it will succeed the Vivo Y28 5G, which was introduced earlier this year. Notably, the Y28 5G variant did not launch in Pakistan, but the 4G version did. Therefore, if the Vivo Y29 5G arrives globally, a similar trend is likely with the 4G variant featuring a different chipset while retaining the remaining specifications.

According to the details shared by 91Mobiles and tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Vivo Y29 5G will feature a sleek design with a rectangular rear camera module in the top-left corner. It will house two sensors and an LED ring unit. Interestingly, its predecessor has a similar sort of design so we should expect no substantial changes.

Moreover, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.68-inch display though not confirmed if it will be AMOLED or IPS LCD. Performance-wise, it will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone is expected to have an 8.1mm slim profile and weigh 198g. It is expected to come in multiple RAM and storage variants including 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The Titanium Gold shade may likely be reserved for the higher-end models only.

For photograph lovers, the Vivo Y29 5G is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 0.08-megapixel QVGA sensor, and an 8-megapixel front shooter. It will likely pack a 5,500mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging. However, the Y28 came with a 6000 mAh battery, so it will be downgraded.

Some other highlights of the phone include dual 5G support, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and military-grade shock resistance. Last but not least, the Y29 5G is expected to launch in three color options including Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, and Titanium Gold.
