vivo Y500 5G Global Launch Nears; Expected Price and Launch Timeline in Pakistan

vivo appears to be preparing the international rollout of its Y500 smartphone after multiple variants of the device surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform, hinting that a Pakistan launch could also be on the cards in the coming months.
The certification database recently listed three separate vivo Y500 variants carrying the model numbers V2627, V2634, and V2635. While the listings do not reveal detailed specifications, they strongly suggest that vivo is preparing region-specific versions of the handset for different global markets.
The development comes months after the original vivo Y500 debuted in China in September 2025 under model number V2506. However, the smartphone never received an official international release at the time.
Expected Pakistan Launch Timeline
Although vivo has not officially confirmed local availability, industry trends suggest the company may introduce the smartphone to Pakistan shortly after its global rollout begins.
Based on vivo’s typical launch cycle and recent certification activity, market observers expect the device to arrive in Pakistan during the third quarter of 2026 if international expansion plans move forward as anticipated.
Expected Price in Pakistan
The Chinese variant of the vivo Y500 launched at a starting price of CNY 1,399, translating to roughly PKR 55,000 to PKR 60,000 before taxes and import duties.
Considering PTA taxes, local market adjustments, and vivo Pakistan’s existing pricing strategy, the smartphone is expected to fall somewhere between PKR 75,000 and PKR 90,000 if officially launched in Pakistan. The company has not yet confirmed any local pricing details.
Key Specifications
The original Chinese version of the vivo Y500 featured a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness levels reaching up to 5,000 nits.
The handset is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset built on a 4nm architecture with clock speeds up to 2.5GHz, placing it firmly within the mid-range 5G smartphone segment.
One of the device’s biggest highlights is its massive 8,200 mAh silicon-carbon battery paired with 90 W fast charging support.
The smartphone also includes a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Additional features include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
