Vivo Electronics corp is Chinese smart phone maker, it makes low cost Android phones. They have launched Vivo Y55s recently in Pakistan with the price range of PKR.19,999/-. Let’s expand its all features in Vivo Y55s Review.

Vivo Y55s phone comes with 5.20 inches touchscreen, with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm moreover power house has a battery of 2730 mAh battery.

It runs the version of android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Vivo Y55s is packed with 13 mega pixel back camera with LED flash light and 5 mega pixel front camera. The phone packs 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM of internal storage. It is 3G and 4G supportive device.

Display of vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s has supportive resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and  density for screen is 320dpi for the visibility of icon and texts. It has graphic card of Adreno-308, which is satisfactory for mid-range devices. Vivo Y55s has excellent multi-touch because it has scored 10 points in it.

Design of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s has sleek brilliant design with touch screen, that’s not only delight your eyes but you feel wonderful while holding in your hand. The dimensions of device are 147.90 x 72.90 x 7.50 and weight is 142.00 gm.

The front body of Vivo Y55s has 5.20 inches screen with 2.5D protection glass moreover it has front camera, LED flash light and ear piece at the top side. There are three function keys at the down side of the screen. It has bezel layer outside the screen.

Top edge has memory card slot and audio jacket of 3.5 mm. volume keys and power button are present at the right edge and sim card slot is present at the left edge. Furthermore there are USB port of v2.0 and speaker at the bottom edge.

Back body of the Vivo Y55s is simple with 13 MP lens camera and flash light moreover logo of Vivo is marked at the back body.

Back Camera of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear with LED flash light that can record video in 1080p quality. The main features for back camera are Panorama, face beauty, buffing, skin tone and whitening. Shooting modes are quiet, baked, sunrise, Korean, dream, movie, HDR, classical and black & white. Some other shooting modes are night, ultra HD, PPT, professional, slow and time-lapse.

Back camera results are satisfactory. Brightness and temperature are well balanced but when we zoom in the picture, we have noticed some noise in it.

Front Camera of vivo Y55s:

There is a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfie moreover that can record a video of 720p quality. The main features for front camera are Panorama, face beauty, skin tone, whitening and buffing. Shooting modes include quiet, baked, sunrise, Korean, dream, movie, HDR, classical and black & white.

Front camera results are quite satisfactory. We have noticed some noise when we zoom in the image moreover the brightness and temperature are well balanced.

Memory of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s has 16 GB ROM and 3GB RAM, that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. It has separate memory card slot at top edge. 16GB ROM is quite satisfactory for videos and applications moreover 3GB RAM makes it a device with good memory.

Battery of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s carries Li-ion battery 2730 mAh that will provide six to seven hours stand by hours of usage. Battery is fixed in non-removable back cover. 2 Amp of charger will charge the phone completely in one and half hour.

Network/Connectivity of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s is 2G, 3G and 4G enabled device furthermore it provides us Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM radio. Wi-Fi has b/g/n standards and Bluetooth version is 4.2.

Interface of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s device come with 5.20 inches screen. It runs version of android 6 (Marshmallow). There are connectivity notifications at the top of the lock screen. Time and date widget is displayed at the center of the lock screen. If your screen is locked you can use emergency calls and camera options which are displayed at the bottom of the lock screen. To unlock the main screen there is a need to swipe upside to unlock the screen.

On the main screen there is google search bar, below the google search bar you will find time and date widget. There are applications on main screen that arranged in form of rows and columns. In vivo Y55s there is no application manager, you will find only application drawer. For application drawer you have to swipe right. There are some bloatware applications installed such as lock, iManager and compass. Facebook and WhatsApp are already installed.

Processor of Vivo Y55s:

Vivo Y55s is powered by 1.4 GHz Quad-Core with a chip set of Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425. As you all know that Qualcomm is far better than other Mediatek chip set because of better battery and network connectivity. It has the Processor of 32 bit with 3GB RAM, which is satisfactory for mid-range devices.

Antutu Bench Marking of vivo Y55s:

We have tested vivo Y55s, it has scored 36098 moreover it has excellent multi touch as it has scored 10 points in it.

Vellamo Bench Marking of Vivo Y55s:

We have conducted vellamo test in vivo Y55s.  Multicore has scored 1360, Metal has scored 1061 and chrome browser has scored 2014. Which makes it satisfactory device.

Conclusion:

Vivo Y55s is satisfactory handset with memory of 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM. It has brilliant touch support.  Camera lens is satisfactory though colors are dull but the overall result is fine as compared to other android handsets. Moreover it provides us good battery life.  It is 3G and 4G enabled device with 3GB RAM, which makes vivo y55s quite satisfactory.
