Vivo Y89 Quietly Launched with Snapdragon 626

Vivo has quietly launched a mid-range smartphone, Y89. It is an entry-level smartphone and comes with ordinary specs. Moreover, the phone is already available on sale as well. The phone is available in black and blue/purple gradient colors.

The Vivo Y89‘s IPS LCD features an averaged sized notch. It comes with Snapdragon 626 SoC, The device will also have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the memory by using a microSD card of up to 256GB.

Vivo Y89 Launches with Dual camera Setup at the Back

Vivo Y89 features dual-camera setup and a fingerprint reader at the back. Also, the phone’s camera module consists of a 16MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensing unit. The notch on the front is home to a 16MP camera. Furthermore, the phone has 3,260 mAh battery. It also comes with Android 8.1 Oreo.

On the other hand, Vivo is working on a “Future smartphone” Apex 2019. According to the new teaser on Weibo that a smartphone comes with water ripples and rounded corners. A tagline “to Simple Future,” also surfaces in the teaser. In a teaser, there is also a text says, Vivo Apex 2019 will be using technology “to wake up to the future.” While the tagline and the accompanying text seem to hint towards some sort of a new unlock mechanism or a new in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will launch on January 24th.
