However it seems there is a still a way to read those deleted texts. Spanish website Android Jefe revealed that its still possible to see messages deleted from WhatsApp.

This App lets you Read Deleted Messages on WhatsApp

WhatsApp’s Delete for Everyone was launched recently and instantly became popular with frequent users. Most people discovered a new kind of notification claiming that the sent message was deleted. The feature helped users delete a WhatsApp text within seven minutes of sending it.

Now the new loophole will allow any WhatsApp user to see deleted texts through from the notification log that still exists on the receiver’s smartphone. However there are some limitations to the loophole. People who are aware of the loophole can exploit it to see the texts. After the messages are deleted, the notifications are still stored on Android system.

To access these notification user need to download an App called Notification History from Google’s Play store.

The App saves the notifications which can be accessed by just going to the Android notification log in App. However there are certain limitations of the App. User cannot read any text beyond the first hundred characters. If a user restarts a device, the whole notification log will disappear permanently. The App Notification History needs Android Nougat to be operated.

Limitations of Notification History App:

The Android Notification log will not be able to save media files like images, videos and documents. This is indeed a very bad news for those who found relief in WhatsApp ‘Delete for Everyone’ feature. However it is a very good news for stalkers who want some excitement in life. WhatsApp has not dealt with loophole so far but i hope that company will fix it fir sure.
There is also a good news for iPhone users. They are safe from this loophole as there is no application that registers notifications.
