Wave Good Bye to BlackBerry Messenger

Gone are days when people used to love old things as old is gold. Now everything new has taken over the tech world. Just after the recent death of Yahoo messenger, BalckBerry messenger, a Status symbol, is about to die soon. It was foreseen as users have shifted to new messengers who are offering better services and features than it.

BlackBerry Messenger to Shutdown on May 31, 2019

A few days back, Blackberry announced that it is the time to bid farewell to the messaging services as it will completely shut down on May 31, 2019. Initially, the company tried to compete with the new platforms but it seems it has accepted its defeat regardless of launching new features.

Emtak, the firm which runs BBM service said that:

“Three years ago, we set out to reinvigorate BBM consumer services. “We poured our hearts into making this a reality, and we are proud of what we have built to date. The technology industry, however, is very fluid, and in spite of our substantial efforts, users have moved on to other platforms, while new users proved difficult to sign on.

After the blackberry messaging service shuts down, users will not be able to view old messages, photos, and other files. However, until that time, you people can download photos, videos, and files.

GoodBye! Rest In Peace. We will Miss You.
