Welfare Eye: An App to Facilitate the Families of Deceased Police Officials. This App is launched by Capital City Police. This mobile application will is designed to help families of Shaheed Police officers who gave their lives to serve Pakistan. The families of those officers also get benefit who died in the line of duty.

The App was inaugurated on Monday by Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin. DIG operations, Dr Haider Ashraf, DIG investigation Chaudhry Sultan, DIG Security, Mr Moen, SSP Admin Rana Ayyaz Saleem attended the occasion. The families of martyred policemen added the color to the ceremony.

On the occasion, Amin revealed that there are 281 martyrs of Lahore Police. This application is designed to communicate with the families of martyrs to solve their problems.

This Application is designed after several complaints from the families of martyred policemen as they were getting difficulties in obtaining benefits from different welfare projects designed for them.

SSP Rana Ayyaz Saleem told that all the deserving families will be registered via Mobile App Welfare Eye. In this way their profiles will be regularly updated from finance, welfare and establishment branch. The particular data is available at the computerized command and control room in CCPO office.

Welfare policy covered three categories of Policemen:

  • Those who lost their life in line of duty
  • Officers who died in service
  • Those who retired on medical grounds

The deserving families can send an SMS to the number 0301531515 if they need any help regarding welfare package. Five lady constables are assigned the task to deal with the families of deceased policemen to solve their problems.

The families had to face problems when visiting different offices to get their issue resolved. Now the problems can be communicated to the designated authorities with a single click by using Welfare Eye App.
