So that your friends will get to know about important information of a certain group. However, the group descriptions will be visible only when inviting someone via the group’s invite link.

Furthermore, WhatsApp will now allow users to search the list of group participants directly from group info. These two new group-related features are coming in the newest version of WhatsApp for Android.

According to some reports, one of the most awaiting feature is going to launch very soon on WhatsApp. That most awaiting feature is adaptive icon. WhatsApp will apply a circle, squircle, square, teardrop, or oval mask in accordance to the rest of the icons on your device.
