WhatsApp For Android & iOS Will Soon Get New Interesting Features
Three features are said to be under testing that includes silent mode, vacation mode, and an option to link accounts. Let’s discuss them one by one.
WhatsApp Silent Mode
The WhatsApp silent mode allows Android users to hide the app badge for muted chats. Apparently, Silent Mode is enabled by default. This means that there is actually no option in the Settings menu that you people will need to activate this feature. According to the reports, the Silent Mode is said to be available on many Android devices starting from today. However, we still don’t know when will this makes its way to iOS users.
WhatsApp Vacation Mode
Vacation Mode is still under testing. Moreover, this feature will be based on the Silent Mode. Whenever the silent mode will be enabled, Vacation Mode will start its work. It will prevent archived chat sessions from becoming active again when any new message will be received.
WhatsApp Linked Account Option
The WhatsApp Linked Accounts option will allow users to link their Instagram and WhatsApp accounts. However, the purpose of this feature is still unknown. According to the reports, it is said that it may allow the users to recover their Facebook/Instagram account using WhatsApp.
All these new features will roll out soon for all the Android and iOS users.
