WhatsApp Goes Down on New Year’s Eve. Several users across the world are reporting issues regarding the connection of WhatsApp on New Year’s Eve, and the Facebook-owned messaging service has acknowledged the issue. Due to this problem WhatsApp users were unable to wish new year’s greeting to their friends and family members.
WhatsApp Goes Down on New Year’s Eve
Service initially went down at 16.28 GMT and resurfaced at 17.07 GMT. WhatsApp users have to face this problem for almost 40 minutes. Users were unable  to connect to the internet although they had a working mobile or wifi connection.
