WhatsApp Introduces a Redesigned Message Menu for Android Users

WhatsApp has started rolling out a redesigned message menu for Android users, bringing a cleaner and more modern experience to the app. This update is currently available to some beta testers using WhatsApp beta version 2.26.23.8. Frequently used actions appear immediately, while less common options can be available under a dedicated “More” section.

This design change helps create a more organized and user-friendly interface. Since the menu appears close to the selected message, users can perform actions without moving their focus to another part of the screen. The result is a smoother and more intuitive messaging experience.

Another important aspect of this update is consistency across platforms. iPhone users have enjoyed a similar floating message menu for years. By bringing the same style of menu to Android, WhatsApp is making its interface more uniform across both operating systems.
