WhatsApp Introduces its own Desktop App
The Facebook-owned WhatsApp, has kept its trend of presenting new features. Now its introducing a desktop app, that will offer people a new way to stay in touch with their loved ones and colleagues anytime and anywhere, whether on their phone or computer at home or work. Just like WhatsApp Web, the desktop app is merely an extension of your phone; the app emulates discussions and messages from your cellphone.

The innovative desktop app is available for download on Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9+ and is synced with WhatsApp on your cellphone. For the reason that the app originally runs on your desktop, you’ll have provision for built-in desktop notifications, improved keyboard shortcuts, and much more interesting features.
How to Download the App:
- In order to use the desktop app users first have to download the app.
- To download the app visit https://www.whatsapp.com/download from your desktop browser.
- After visiting the site open the app and then scan the QR code while using the WhatsApp app on your mobile. (search for WhatsApp Web menu under Settings).
Similar to WhatsApp Web, the new desktop app has made it really easy for users to interact with their friends and family as it allows them to contact them, while phones remain in their pockets.
