WhatsApp Latest Update Brings Sticker Packs Support on Android & iOS

Whatsapp latest update has started support for stickers on Android & iOS. The company has released this new feature after months of testing it internally. Now it works without any issue. The rollout might be gradual so it will take a few days to hit your handset.

WhatsApp Latest Update Introduces Sticker Packs Support

WhatsApp has also launched a Stickers Store in the app that let you download these stickers. Currently, the store supports some of the sticker packs that we have already seen on Facebook.
Initially, users will only be able to send Stickers from one existing pack but users can also remove the existing pack and can download a variety of other packs that include all types of stickers.
These stickers are different from emojis, images, or GIFs. They are not supported natively in operating systems or online platforms like Emojis.

When receiving a sticker, users will be able to tap on it in order to see extra information about that particular sticker pack if it is not installed. Otherwise, it can be added to a section of favorite stickers.

These new stickers are rolling out as part of version 2.18.329 of the Android app but those users who have version 2.18.310 or above will also receive them. iOS users have to download version 2.18.100 in order to get these stickers.

WhatsApp allows you to access these stickers not only on a smartphone but also on the WhatsApp Web.
