WhatsApp Muted Chats will Not Display Notification Badges

WhatsApp is the most widely used platform; however, it also has some lapses which need to fix. Well there many out there, however, we will be discussing the one for what WhatsApp has promised to bring its fix. How many times in your life you are annoyed to see the badge carrying messages form the chants you had muted on WhatsApp? Well, the messaging app is trying to fix WhatsApp Muted Chats lapse.

Most Annoying WhatsApp Muted Chats is Going to End Soon

WhatsApp keeps on insisting you alter new messages from that you had previously muted is indeed annoying. Finally, WhatsApp is trying to put a full stop to it. Muted chats did not receive push notifications to notify users of the new messages however incoming messages are still represented by badge icons.

This update is currently rolled out for WhatsApp on iOS that ensures that now notifications will not be displayed as a badge on app’s icon.

The Version 2.19.110, WhatsApp noted that: “Muted chats will no longer display notification based on the app icon when you receive new messages.”

This is indeed the best change that is ever made to WhatsApp. The company has not rolled out this feature for Android users however a new feature for Android is rolled out that will stop users to add you without your consent.
