WhatsApp Android Update Gets Redesigned Facebook Logo

A new beta version of WhatsApp for Android has introduced a redesigned Facebook footer. It has also been reported that the instant messaging app is in development to roll out the anticipated Dark Theme, but publicly it is not available. WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.19.331 for beta testers brings the footer showcasing the redesigned Facebook logo.

You can see the Facebook footer on the welcome screen and also in the settings menu of the latest WhatsApp beta version. Moreover, it is also visible on the Splash Screen.

Furthemore, an updated WhatsApp for iPhone version has received the Dark Theme. Officially WhatsApp did not reveal any plan towards bringing the Dark Theme to its instant messaging app. However, WhatsApp for Android has received the updated version 2.19.329 along with bug fixes.

Last month, Facebook released its new logo that shows the name of company in all uppercase letters. So now WhatsApp appears to be adopting the Facebook products to feature the rebranding through the new footer.
