With the growing technology, the use of social media platforms is also ever growing. Social media platforms have become necessity of our daily lives and people are spending hours interacting with their friends via these platforms. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO Facebook announced that WhatsApp Statuses & Instagram Stories Boast 300M Daily Active Users.

Around June, 250 million daily active users were reported for Instagram and WhatsApp. So it is evident that this figure has increased gradually within a period of 5 months. It shows that the most loved App Snapchat is still striving to compete Whatsapp and Instagram as it has only 173 million daily active users.

WhatsApp Statuses & Instagram Stories Boast 300M Daily Active Users

The statistics were announced by Zuckerberg on Facebook’s Q3 earnings where he revealed that Facebook has breaking record despite of Russian case. Instagram and WhatsApp keep on introducing new features to gain the popularity of its users and to increase its user base.

Recently WhatsApp delete feature launched was a relief to many people and  has made many users happy. Instagram Stop motion camera feature is also launched recently. The day to day introduction of news features in these platforms may be the main reason of Snapchat left behind.

Instagram has also introduced Right-to-left Language Support for three languages including Farsi, Arabic and Hebrew. It is evident that on and off roll out of such news features is the main reason that people have shifted to it.
