As compared to BlackBerry, there are a limited number of customers who use the Nokia S40 platform nowadays. However, Nokia S60 users don’t have much time as WhatsApp will end its support on the platform on June 30 this year.

To keep chatting using the messaging app, users may want to update their WhatsApp app to the latest compatible version through the BlackBerry World app store installed on their phones. However, Newer BlackBerry phones like Aurora and KEYone will not be affected, as they run Android instead of BlackBerry OS.

Moreover, WhatsApp confirmed that those users on Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 along with Windows Phone 7 won’t be capable to use WhatsApp at the beginning of 2017. However, for those who want to use WhatsApp, must have at least Android 2.3.3, iOS 7 or Windows Phone 8.
