Windows Phone 8 Arrives Carrying New Features

The arrival of the new Windows Phone 8 brings with it some exciting new add-ons. The two most interesting ones are the mass storage ability and the screenshot support. On Microsoft’s announcement regarding the adding of support for the microSD cards in their newly releasing phone, great speculation arose as to whether they would resort to the mass storage protocol or the media transfer protocol. Now that the announcement has been made, they seem to have gone with the popular mass storage protocol.
The other new feature coming to the Windows phone is the ability to take screen shots. A problem had arose regarding taking screenshots where if you weren’t already a developer you could not take a screenshot on the device itself. However on the Windows Phone, users can take multiple screenshots by pressing the Windows key and the camera key simultaneously. Which sounds very exciting that you can take multiple screenshots at a time.
Although these features do not constitute state of the art developments, the fact that they were not present in the Windows Phone adds to the present excitement over their release in the new Windows Phone 8. We hope that the new phones will grab the market.
