Xiaomi has officially introduced the Xiaomi 18 Fold, its first wide-format foldable smartphone. The new device combines a large folding display with Xiaomi’s own Xring O3 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery, and a powerful 200MP main camera. It is one of the company’s most awaited smartphones. One question is in everyone mind is whether the Xiaomi 18 Fold will be available in Pakistan or not. Before answering the question, let’s first check the key specs of the phone.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold uses a wide design that gives it a different look from traditional book-style foldable phones. It is available in several colors, including a striking cherry red option. Xiaomi has also introduced a ceramic special edition for buyers looking for a more premium finish.

Large 120Hz displays

The phone features a 7.58-inch internal display with a resolution of 2364 x 1672 pixels. On the outside, there is a 5.38-inch cover screen with a resolution of 1168 x 1712 pixels.

Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. The cover screen is protected by Xiaomi’s Shield Glass 3.0, adding extra durability to the outer display.

Powered by Xiaomi’s Xring O3

One of the biggest highlights of the Xiaomi 18 Fold is its Xring O3 system-on-chip. The chipset is Xiaomi’s own development and is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The base configuration comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while other versions offer 12GB or 16GB of RAM with up to 1TB of storage. The 16GB models use faster LPDDR6 memory, while the 12GB versions use LPDDR5X RAM.

200MP Main Camera

Xiaomi has equipped the 18 Fold with a 200MP primary camera. It uses Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size.

The main camera is joined by a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It offers 3.5x optical zoom and can provide up to 7x in-sensor lossless zoom. There is also a 50MP ultrawide camera on the back.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP camera on both the inner and outer displays.

Large Battery with Fast Charging

The Xiaomi 18 Fold packs a 6,000mAh battery with 20% silicon content. It supports up to 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The device runs HyperOS 4 based on Android 17. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Slim Design and Pricing

Despite its large battery and foldable construction, the Xiaomi 18 Fold weighs 219 grams. When folded, it measures 117.8 x 83.6 x 10.68mm. Once unfolded, it is 117.8 x 163.8 x 5.02mm.

The phone comes in black, cherry red, Warm Gold, and a ceramic special edition.

Pricing starts at CNY 10,999, or around $1,638, for the 12GB/256GB model. The 12GB/512GB version costs CNY 11,999, while the 16GB/512GB model is priced at CNY 12,999. The top 16GB/1TB model costs CNY 14,999. The ceramic special edition with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 15,999.

For now, Xiaomi has confirmed that the 18 Fold will remain exclusive to China. The company does not plan to launch the foldable in international markets. Unfortunately, it will not be available in Pakistan.
