Xiaomi 18 Tipped With Dual 200MP Cameras; Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan

The Xiaomi 18 is tipped with dual 200MP cameras, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and an early 2027 Pakistan launch.

Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 18 could arrive with one of the most ambitious camera setups yet seen on the company’s standard flagship line, according to a new leak pointing to dual 200MP cameras, a 7,200mAh battery, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.

The standard Xiaomi 18 was notably missing from the company’s recent Xiaomi 18 Pro series launch in China. According to tipster Panda is Bald, the base model is expected to launch separately in December 2026.

The phone is tipped to feature a 200MP primary camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, paired with a second 200MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. A 50MP ultrawide camera is also expected to complete the rear camera setup.

If accurate, the configuration would bring the standard Xiaomi 18 much closer to the company’s Pro models in terms of imaging hardware, particularly for zoom photography.

The device is also expected to feature a 6.4-inch M11 display with 1.5K resolution, keeping the phone relatively compact compared with many current flagship devices. Performance is expected to come from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the handset could pack a large 7,200mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging.

Expected Price and Release Timeline in Pakistan

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the Xiaomi 18’s price or launch date for Pakistan.

Based on early local estimates and the expected positioning of the device, the handset could be priced at around Rs 270,000 in Pakistan, although some unofficial listings suggest a figure above Rs 300,000. The final price may vary depending on storage configuration, exchange rates, taxes, and PTA-related costs.

The Xiaomi 18 is currently tipped to launch in China in December 2026. If Xiaomi follows its usual staggered rollout, a global release could follow afterward, with a possible Pakistan launch in early 2027 if the company officially introduces the model locally.

For now, the camera specifications, battery capacity, pricing, and release timeline remain based on leaks and should be treated as unconfirmed until Xiaomi makes an official announcement.
