Xiaomi HyperOS 4 Update: Check the List of Eligible Devices

Xiaomi is preparing to launch its next major software update, HyperOS 4, which will bring new features, improved performance, and better integration across the company’s growing ecosystem of devices. Although Xiaomi has not yet officially announced the update, reports suggest that HyperOS 4 will be available between July and August 2026, with a wider rollout beginning later in the year.

The update will be closely linked with the release cycle of Android 17. If current reports prove accurate, Xiaomi’s newest flagship smartphones will be among the first devices to receive the software. The rollout is likely to start with the upcoming Xiaomi 17 series before expanding to other premium smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices.

Xiaomi HyperOS 4 Update: Check the List of Eligible Devices

According to industry reports, the stable version of HyperOS 4 may begin reaching users around September or October 2026. However, the exact timing could differ depending on the region, device model, and software testing requirements. Xiaomi traditionally releases major updates in stages, allowing the company to identify and resolve potential issues before expanding availability to more users.

The first wave of updates will focus on flagship devices. These may include the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 series, Xiaomi 14 series, and the Xiaomi Mix Flip foldable smartphone. Premium users generally receive software updates earlier.

Redmi smartphones will also receive the update. Devices such as the Redmi Note 15 series, Redmi Note 14 family, Redmi 15 lineup, and selected Redmi A-series models are among those frequently mentioned in compatibility reports. Several Redmi tablets, including the Redmi Pad 2 series, will also be part of the rollout.

POCO users can also look forward to receiving HyperOS 4 on a wide range of devices. Reports indicate that the POCO F8 series, POCO F7 family, POCO F6 models, and POCO X-series smartphones will be in the eligible devices list. In addition, several POCO M-series, C-series, and tablet devices will also receive the update.

Despite these expectations, Xiaomi has not yet published an official list of supported devices. As a result, all compatibility information currently available should be considered preliminary. Final eligibility may vary depending on Xiaomi’s software support policies and regional requirements.

The expected rollout strategy follows Xiaomi’s standard approach for major software updates. Newer and higher-end devices typically receive updates first, while mid-range and entry-level models follow in later phases. This process helps ensure stability and provides developers with time to address any issues that may arise after the initial release.

For Xiaomi users, HyperOS 4 represents another step in the company’s efforts to improve user experience and strengthen its software ecosystem. While details about specific features remain limited, the update will focus on performance enhancements, system optimization, and deeper integration with Android 17.

Until Xiaomi officially confirms the launch date and device roadmap, users will need to wait for further announcements. However, current reports suggest that HyperOS 4 will be one of the company’s most widely available software updates, reaching a large number of Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices in the coming months.
