Xiaomi Mi A2 Leaked Image Reveals Android Oreo 8.1 & Other Specifications

Xiaomi is working on Mi A2 to make it official. Mi A2 is expected to use the same exact hardware as the older device, Mi 6x with one difference that it will run stock Android as a part of Android one program. Similar happened to Mi GX and Mi A1 last year. Xiaomi Mi A2 Leaked Image confirms rumoured specifications.

It is evident from the below picture that it is running on Android 8.1 Ore.  Images of Xiaomi Mi A2 screen confirms that MiA2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It is same as S0C employed by Mi 6X.

The Mi A2 is expected to bring a 5.99-inch FHD+ display and could be offered in a choice of 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The 4GB RAM option is expected to come with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage, while the 6GB RAM variant will reportedly come with 128GB storage. The Mi A2 will also get a dual camera setup with a 12MP + 20MP configuration. On the front, the Mi A2 is said to come with a 20-megapixel sensor. The handset will likely house a 3,010mAh battery with USB Type-C support and fast charging support.

Xiaomi’s Mi A2 smartphone is said to be Android One variant of Mi 6X which was launched in April this year. Xiaomi held a global event last year to launch the Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One smartphone which is a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 5X that it had launched a little earlier in China.
