Yesterday, Xiaomi launched Mi Play. It is a new budget smartphone and at the moment it is only available in China, but it is to be expected that soon it will be available across the globe.  The price of the phone is $159. It comes in a modern look with thin bezels. Xiaomi Mi Play has a notch on the front and a glossy back with a two-tone gradient finish.

Moreover, it has a 5.84-inch with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2280×1080 resolution.  This new device comes in three colors, blue, red and black.

As it is a midrange phone and also not so costly that’s why the phone runs on the new 12nm MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, with octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The internal memory is backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

When it comes to the camera section, this new handset has a dual camera on the rear that has a 12MP primary sensor with AI mode, along with a 8MP front camera. The powerhouse of the phone is fueled by a 3000mAh battery with standard 10W charging and microUSB connector.

However, it has been reported that it seems Xiaomi also offers free 4G data for one year with the phone, with 10GB available every month in the china only.
