New Xiaomi MI Smartwatch Comes with Snapdragon 3100

Xiaomi’s all set to launch today’s first smartwatch. It is said that the smartwatch is called Mi Watch. Before the release, the company disclosed almost everything about the Mi Watch and leaks. Xiaomi confirmed the design and some of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Smartwatch key features. The Mi Watch’s design is influenced by Apple Watch. A new leak now reveals the Mi Watch’s cost.  

Chinese smart device maker Xiaomi’s excitement is growing as the day of its first smartwatch launch approaches and additional photos and specs are leaked online. Xiaomi General Manager posted a picture of the forthcoming Xiaomi Smartwatch to be unveiled on November 5 along with the recently announced Xiaomi CC 9 Pro flagship on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo. 

Xiaomi MI smartwatch in black watch face and black straps wrapped around the wrist were shown in the picture posted by Li. The wearable device featured a squarish design that is very similar to the famous Apple Watch with rounded edges. Although no further specifics have been released along with the post, Xiaomi’s first smartwatch is expected to run on its own MIUI smartwatch version and features an independent app. 

Other specs rumored to come under the hood include a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC processor, a linear haptic engine, speaker system, relatively large battery capacity, and GPS, NFC, and eSIM support. Xiaomi will also launch the new iteration of its popular smart TV, Xiaomi TV 5 series, and other related electronic peripherals.
