Xiaomi Reportedly Aiming to Earn $17 Billion Revenue this Year

As we all know that year 2017 was a great year for Xiaomi. The company has already revealed that it targets to become the no.1 brand Globally. It seems Xiaomi is trying to build new shipment record this year. Xiaomi Reportedly Aiming to Earn $17 Billion Revenue this Year.

Latest report by Reuters states that Xiaomi is on target to earn revenue of $17 billion this year. In this way the company will top its annual revenue target by 18 percent. Bloomberg also reported that Xiaomi has earned $15 billion revenue in the first ten months of 2017.

Two weeks back, a report also stated that Xiaomi is preparing for a $50 billion IPO. Now this number is increased to $100 billion which can potentially make it the worlds biggest smartphone maker. Many analysts expect Xiaomi’s profit will grow sharply in 2018.

Reuter also discussed that Xiaomi was valued at $46 billion in 2014 which made it the world’s most valuable startup. For two years company grew too fast that 2016 was rough year for it.

After having rough year, Xiaomi expanded its business by selling smartphone accessories and home appliances in China and other markets. IDC also reported that Xiaomi has overtook Apple to become the fourth largest smartphone manufacturer in China in Q3 2017.

It seems Xiaomi will not slow down its momentum as its announced the upcoming Mi 7 that will have Snapdragon 845. Xiaomi has also launched Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China.
