As we have already reported that Xiaomi will launch the Huami smartwatch on September 17. Now the Xiaomi sub-brand Huami launches a Smartwatch with Heart Rate Monitor, GPS, and More. The Amazfit Verge is the new affordable Huami smartwatch.

The Amazfit Verge has a Gorilla Glass 3 protected round (no flat tire) 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a 360 x 360 resolution. The timepiece runs Huami’s own OS. Under the hood is a dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. It also comes with the Xiao voice assistant and a Heart rate sensor. It also includes NFC for mobile payments using AliPay, built-in GPS, and integration with smart home products from Mija. The Verge also has an IP68 certification rating allowing users to submerge it in water as deep as nearly 5-feet for as long as 30 minutes, and emerge unscathed.

The Xiaomi-backed brand produces smartwatches running proprietary software as well as smart bands that range in capability and price. The Amazfit Verge comes with detailed fitness tracking and a round display, along with GPS tracking, 5ATM water resistance.
