YouTube has launched its feature that will allow users to watch offline videos back in 2014. With the passage of time this feature became available for many of the YouTube users. YouTube’s offline feature allows people make videos available for offline viewing using WiFi on their data plans. After taking the videos offline, users can watch them without an internet connection for almost 48 hours. This will let people enjoy videos during short periods of low or no internet connectivity. For videos where this feature is available, people can select to add the video for offline viewing by tapping on their offline icon.
To download a video, what you have to do is
- Go to the video Watch page.
- Below the video, tap the Download button or select Download from a video’s context Menu.
- Once the video is downloaded, the Download button will appear blue below the video.
