Google is advancing to ascend its Material Design alteration through its desktop products and it seems like an update to YouTube isn’t too far.
YouTube to Get Google’s Material Design
The way to enable it right away is really easy in Google Chrome on the desktop. On the website, you would now have a Material Design-inspired Search bar in the middle and the ‘Upload’ button has been substituted by the same upload arrow you perceive on Google’s mobile apps.
The most noteworthy modifications come to the Channel pages, with the background color now similar to the foremost color of your header image, and a revised round logo instead of the formerly square designing and overall less appealing page layout. Giving designers a more personal-feeling page creates a lot of sense assuming that they’re the life force of the platform.
