Zong Congratulates Anusha Rahman & Dr. Ismail Shah on winning the Government Mobile Excellence Award

Zong congratulated Anusha Rahman, minister of state for IT & Telecom and Dr Ismail Shah, chairman of PTA, on winning the “Government Mobile Excellence Award” as this achievement is a welcome news for the country, a statement quoting Nauman Khalid, deputy director regulatory affairs, Zong.

Anusha Rahman has recently been awarded the “Government Mobile Excellence Awards 2015” at the Mobile World Congress 2015 of the GSMA in Barcelona, Spain. This award is an acknowledgement of the successful spectrum auction of the 3G and 4G services in the 850MHz, 1,800MHz and 2,100MHz bands.

Anusha Rahman is a Pakistani politician and a lawyer who serves as the Minister of State of Information Technology and Telecommunication. She also sits on the board of directors of Punjab Educational Endowment Fund

She is a senior member of the Pakistan Muslim League, and holds the membership of its Central Working Committee. She become in-charge of the federal Information Technology and Telecommunication ministry on June 2013, the only women in the federal cabinet.

Dr. Ismail Shah is the chairman of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and appointed as chairman in PTA in November 2013.
