ZTE Unveils World’s First 5G-Ready Smartphone
When every big technology company is busy in launching 5G network, ZTE wins the race by introducing world’s first 5G-ready smartphone. ZTE unveiled this phone at Mobile World Congress and will be running by 2020. The company named this phone “Gigabit Phone“.

According to the company, Gigabit Phone is the first smartphone capable of download speeds reaching up to 1 gigabit per second. Moreover, it is up to 10 times faster than the first generation of 4G services.
“With the new device, the way people stay connected will change forever. Focusing on 5G technologies will be one of the key priorities of ZTE´s global development,”
a ZTE spokesman said.
“The sad reality is that this smartphone will not end up in consumers´ pockets. Because both 5G and Virtual Reality are still years away to be a mass-market consumer reality,”
he added.
The device will allow for 360-degree panoramic Virtual Reality video and fast downloads of ultra Hi-Fi music and videos.
Other high-tech smartphone manufacturing companies are also working to launch 5G enabled smartphone. For that reason, KT and Samsung Succeeded to Establish 5G Connection through End-to-End 5G Networks. However, the test is done in South Korea at Samsung Electronics’ Digital City Campus.
As we have told you earlier that AT&T has started working 5G Network in Collaboration with Intel and Ericsson. AT&T is started testing 5G network in one of the labs of Intel.
Recently, Ericsson has Launched 5G Platform Combining 5G Radio System & Core Network. Ericsson’s new 5G platform comprises the 5G core, radio and transport portfolios, together with digital support systems, transformation services and security.
