Apple iPhone 3GS, “S” stands for speed of the processor. It doesn’t only have an upgraded processor but coincides with the update of iPhone 3 firmware.
The 3GS has a processor of 600MHz one core, 256MB Ram and storage 16GB and 32GB, and the jump from 2G to 3G.
The dimensions of the iPhone 3GS are 115.5 x 62.10 x 12.30mm and weighs 135g. The display touch screen is 3.5-inch HVGA widescreen with 320x 480 ppi with a major update of smear free screen with oleo-phobic coating. The wide screen uses capacitive touch display meaning stylus cannot be used as the screen becomes responsive with the electricity conducted via the fingertip.
The rear camera is upgraded to 3.15 MP with auto-focus with a tap to the screen. The video results aren’t as good as the competitors but it suffices for saving some special moments. A front camera dint come in the 3GS as it was expected for the iChat.
