OnePlus 8
₨83,099
Each OnePlus launch creates a huge hype. But not all new phones provide major enhancements compared to their rivals. The OnePlus 7T had the impression of a big improvement over its predecessor.
- OnePlus 8 Is available with a price tag of Rs. 83,099.
- Its price in USD is $1,128.
OnePlus 8 is equipped with a 6.55 inch AMOLED Fluid monitor with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. This has a really bright and smooth display.
The dark levels and contrast are great with an AMOLED screen. There is also a ‘natural setting if you do not want your colors enhanced, and if you want them to be more true. In case you are interested, the telephone will also give you some manual calibration choices. The screen supports HDR10+, while OTT platforms are compatible with HDR content which appears far better.
The OnePlus 8 features a huge battery of 4300 mAh. It may easily last for 30 hours, up to one day and a half, including generous use of messaging and social media applications, browsing, a good quantity of photographs, an hour’s viewing of movies, and a half hour’s play. This is quite an outstanding lifetime of the battery. In less than 25 minutes and 30W Warp charges from 0,5% to 50%. These are amazing features.
OnePlus’ rear camera combo right in the7T provides the customers with the option of a PDAF and OIS 48MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide focusing camera, and a 12MP 2X optical zoom telephoto camera.
A similar main 48MP camera with OIS and PDAF is available for the OnePlus 8, however, the autofocus for the extreme 16MP camera is lacking. Worse, a pathetic 2MP macro camera replaced the 12MP telephoto camera. Thus, the phone is losing optical zoom capabilities, but the 2MP camera is clamping on a premium phone like a sore thumb. Despite not having a specialized macro camera, the OnePlus 7T features a macro option that works far better than the expert here
Like the back camera, when your face is well-lit, the 16MP front camera is pretty decent. The selfies shot are crisp and the skin appears to be genuine. Nevertheless, do not take portrait pictures; these might be hit or miss. There’s one basic issue, but the selfie camera is pretty nice.
OnePlus 8 is actually a nice smartphone, but not necessarily the best value for money at its present price.
