Apple Announces October Event 2023 for Macs: ‘Scary Fast’

Recent Mac-related rumours have been rather perplexing, leaving room for various speculations. One potential announcement might involve an upgraded version of the 24-inch iMac. However, it will come with the M1 Apple silicon chip. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, there is no chance for the MacBook Air. But we could anticipate potential updates for the 13-inch MacBook Pro and 14-inch MacBook Pro. There could be a 16-inch MacBook Pro, including the possibility of new chips.

The specifics of these chip upgrades remain uncertain, with no confirmation of a new M3-series chip. However, depending on the focus of these upgrades, the iMac and MacBook Pro models could potentially adopt the 3-nanometer M3 chip lineup.

Given the current ambiguity surrounding the Mac product line, this event is shaping up to be one of the more enigmatic ones. As we approach October 30, it’s likely that we will receive more details.

Apple intends to livestream the event on its official website and YouTube. You can also watch the event through the Apple TV app.
