Apple Confirms A Special “Let Loose” Event For May 7

Apple has recently announced a special event for May 7, dubbed “Let Loose.” The upcoming Apple event will be online. It will take place at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET. Moreover, it’s anticipated to focus on new iPad hardware and accessories. Get ready to see a new iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard at this highly anticipated Apple “Let Loose” Event.

An Upcoming Apple Event confirmed for May 7

It is pertinent to mention that the upcoming Apple event on May 7 will be completely virtual, just like the “Scary Fast” event held in October. All the invites from silicon giant, Apple hint that people will be able to watch it online. No one has received an invitation to an in-person event yet. Moreover, you get a different version of the invite artwork whenever you refresh the Apple.com homepage.

The main artwork for the “Let Loose” invite indicates that a new Apple Pencil is on the way. It shows an Apple Pencil drawing a colorful Apple logo. Rumors claim the new Apple Pencil will feature Find My integration and magnetically swappable tips to simulate different writing and drawing instruments. In addition, multiple sources claim the new Apple Pencil will support a “Squeeze” gesture.

A new iPad Pro lineup is also anticipated. Both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models will switch to OLED displays. The new iPad Pro designs will be significantly thinner than their predecessors. Furthermore, the iPad Air lineup will welcome a new 12.9-inch form factor for the first time, joining the existing 10.9-inch size. The 12.9-inch model will reportedly use a mini-LED display.
