There are rumors that Apple, the smartphone giant is soon going to cancel its anniversary phone  iPhone X. This leak is released from a very credible source, AppleInsider. The company has planned to cease production of iPhone X in this summer. This is for the very first time that Apple has canceled an iPhone after just one generation.

Analyst from AppleInsider revealed the major reason behind less sales of Apple’s flagship iPhone X to be disinterest of it in China. Chinese love large screen and as Apple included notch in iPhone X, Chinese consider it removing too much usable space. No doubt, iPhone 8 launched with iPhone X is better devices having less price.

A survey from Cowan also claims that maximum number of people have lost interest in new iPhones. AppleInsider analyst foresees that apart from halting production of iPhone X, Apple will still witness modest growth of 5% in the first half of 2018.

Apple iPhone X will not last long

Apple is expecting to end 2018 with 10 % growth as iPhone X will be replaced with three exciting phones, i.e; 5.8-inch iPhone X, 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and a 6.1-inch iPhone SE replacement which will be fitted with Face ID.

Apple expects that the new flagship iPhones will definitely attract Chinese market. However to me it is some what weird to cancel a model which you once called ” Anniversary Addition” and boosted that it is the best of Apple devices until now.
