Galaxy S24 FE Inches Closer to Launch with Latest Listing

Samsung has introduced an “FE” version of its flagship S series, offering many of the premium features at a more affordable price. Last year, we saw the Galaxy S23 FE hit the shelves, while the Galaxy S24 series has been available for some time now. Now, it’s time to talk about the next FE model, the Galaxy S24 FE. Recently, RootMyGalaxy spotted the Galaxy S24 FE in the database of UK carrier EE. In this region, the model number appears to be SM-S7210U, likely for the version sold through EE. The latest listing has hinted that the launch of Galaxy S24 FE is imminent.

The buzz surrounding the Galaxy S24 FE has been steadily growing, and this discovery further solidifies the fact that Samsung is indeed working on this FE device. With its presence in EE’s database, it’s reasonable to assume that the phone will launch in the UK at least.

However, the exact release date of the phone remains uncertain due to conflicting reports. Depending on the rumour you believe, the Galaxy S24 FE could hit the shelves either in the summer of 2024 or in late 2024 to early 2025.

A summer 2024 release would position the device quite close to the present, likely between June and August, which would make sense. On the other hand, a later release would bring it dangerously close to the launch of the Galaxy S25 series, potentially causing some overlap in pricing and repeating past launch window mistakes seen with the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S22 series.

According to previous reports, the Galaxy S24 FE will feature a 6.1-inch AMOLED display. It will come with either the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, depending on the market. Additionally, the phone will also offer 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1. The device is said to be powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
