The design is also on show, with the HTC U looking like a sleek and slim device. The most promising feature of this phone is its edge sensors. By pressing its edges, different functions will perform based on your settings.
The edge sensors can be used with one hand and will be able to activate the camera, Google Assistant, HTC sense and even WiFi hotspot along with other several apps and functions. Users will also be able to set the sensitivity of their grip with three options for them to select from.
According to rumors, the phone will have a 5.5 inch Quad HD display. Moreover, the phone will be powered by with latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. HTC U will come in two variants. One variant will have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM. However, the other variant will have 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. Moreover, it may possible that these models will be region depended.
‘U’ is HTC’s new branding for its top-range phone. Recently, HTC has launched two U phones on the market, the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play. So now get ready for the launch of HTC’s first squeezable smartphone.
