Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Flaunts Curved Display In The Latest Leak

Motorola is wrapping up to launch three new phones at an April 3 event. For the first time in history, Motorola is holding a global launch event in India. The company will introduce the highly anticipated Motorola Edge 50 series at the upcoming event. The company has been heavily marketing the Edge 50 Pro currently, however, the star of the show could be the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. It is the latest flagship phone sporting the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform by the company to date. The smartphone is expected to launch in the US as the Edge Plus 2024. Recently, a leak surfaced online revealing the design and specs of the Edge 50 Ultra. Let’s dig into what it reveals.

Anticipated Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Specs

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra ditched the trendy flat panel we’ve seen on most recent flagships. On the other hand, it will opt for a curved display. The corners of the smartphone are neatly rounded off with slim bezels at the top and bottom. The smartphone will have stereo sound together with an IP68 rating and some other level of protection against water.

According to some previous leaks, the handset will boast a triple rear camera setup using 50MP sensors, including a 75mm periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. The three color options of the handset will include Pantone’s Color of 2024, Peach Fuzz, black, and brushed finish. It is anticipated to run Android 14 and offer three years of updates.

Previous rumors claimed the upcoming Edge 50 Pro would be Motorola’s flagship phone for the year. However, that doesn’t seem true as it will pack the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, making the Edge 50 Ultra the more premium smartphone of the two. Let’s wait and watch if Motorola has more flagship phones in the pipeline for a US launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
