New Google Maps Update for Android — Potential Life Saver!!

No worries, Google is there to save the day with it new update of Google Maps. The new update provides an amazing feature of using maps in offline mode. The user only has to download the map once of which ever location he/she wants and after that they can access the map whenever they want wherever they want.

In the new Google maps update there is a button inside the app which lets you download maps. The procedure is simple; the user has to drag and zoom to fit the area that they want to save, click download and viola you can now use the downloaded map area even when you are not on the internet.

One of the best features that I like about this update is that you can zoom in and out as much as you want in the downloaded area and you can even use your phone’s GPS to navigate in that particular area.

Though, there is a limit to the size of the map that you can download and use at one time, but it’s not that’s bad considering that you can easily save a map as big as Islamabad And Rawalpindi and also access your location without having to incur any data charges.

Although this new update for Google Maps could turn out to be a potential life saver, it is a newly established update and thus subject to certain glitches and errors, such as certain road names not showing up on the map.
