Over 100,000 Students Register for CM Punjab’s Motorcycle Scheme

Students from various cities including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, and Rawalpindi are eligible to apply for the scheme before the initial deadline on April 29th.

Under this scheme, students have the opportunity to acquire petrol motorcycles and electric bikes through convenient monthly instalment plans, facilitated by the Punjab government’s provision of the down payment. Additionally, the provincial government will cover the interest payments in monthly instalments, further easing the financial burden on the students.

The project, launched by CM Maryam Nawaz as part of the Chief Minister Youth Initiative on April 12, aims to provide 20,000 bikes to students. Male students can opt for monthly instalments of Rs 11,676, while female students can avail of the offer at Rs 7,325 per month.

In an effort to ensure equitable access for students across Lahore, motorcycles will be distributed based on the population density of each district.

Interested students can take advantage of this opportunity by submitting their applications before the deadline on April 29, 2024. They can submit their applications through the official website of the Punjab government. This initiative not only aims to empower students with mobility but also to alleviate financial constraints, enabling them to pursue their educational goals with greater ease.
